Review by hotel critic
During my recent trip to Jaipur, I found myself at Pandya Niwas, a quaint hotel nestled in the lively bazaar area close to key cultural sites. As an archaeologist, I appreciated being just a stone's throw away from the City Palace and other historical landmarks. The warm welcome from the owner and the attentive night staff made a significant impression on us, particularly after the hectic journey we had experienced arriving at 1 AM.the rooms are surprisingly spacious, boasting large windows and comfortable king-size beds-perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. The amenities provided, such as free WiFi, a minibar, and air conditioning, exceeded my expectations for the price point, making it an excellent choice for both budget-conscious travelers and those craving a touch of luxury. I was particularly delighted by the hearty breakfast at the Teal Room, which included a delicious spread of fried eggs, bacon, and hearty coffee-just what I needed to fuel a day of archaeology in the bustling streets of Jaipur. While the location is convenient, navigating the narrow alleys can be tricky due to taxi drivers' reluctance to venture close to the hotel. The property's car hire service offers a practical solution for those wanting to delve deeper into the cultural riches of this vibrant city.
